04 · Credit where it's due

Where TradingView is stronger.

  • A far bigger indicator library

TradingView lists 400+ pre-built indicators and 100K+ community-built ones. Vera Charts ships a focused core suite.

  • Pine Script and backtesting

If you write your own indicators or backtest strategies in code, Pine Script has no equivalent on Vera Charts today.

  • Many more markets

Stocks, ETFs, futures and more, with screeners across 150+ exchanges. Vera Charts covers spot crypto and forex.

  • Desktop and mobile apps

TradingView has web, desktop and mobile apps. Vera Charts runs in the browser, and mobile-friendly views are still in development.

  • A free plan and a big community

TradingView's Basic plan is free, TradingView says its platform is used by 100 million traders, and its community publishes ideas and scripts. Vera Charts has no free plan and no public community library.

  • Real-money trading through brokers

TradingView connects to selected brokers. Vera Charts is simulated only, by design.

05 · A browser charting platform built for practice

What Vera Charts does differently.

A paper trading platform for crypto and forex where practice behaves like the market: real spreads, modeled fees, and orders you manage on the chart.

  • One flat price, everything included

$12 a month. No tiers, no upsell, no extra-cost indicators, no chart count limits. Every feature we build, every subscriber gets.

  • An engine we built ourselves

Vera Charts runs on an in-house HTML5 canvas charting engine, not an external charting library. Smooth pan and zoom, with years of history that loads as you scroll.

  • Paper trading against live order books

Market buys fill at the live best ask and market sells at the live best bid. You pay the full spread on a round trip and fees are modeled per source venue, so practice results aren't flattered.

  • Orders you can drag

Stop loss, take profit and trailing stops are lines on the chart: drag them to adjust without leaving the candles. Long and short position planners show target, entry and stop zones with live R:R.

  • Your workspace follows you

Layouts sync to the server, so signing in on another device brings back your charts and drawings.

  • Risk settings and a journal

Set a personal daily loss limit and daily profit target with auto-flatten on breach, then review every closed trade in the performance journal: win rate, R multiple and duration.

  • A path to a funded evaluation

Partner prop firms such as Funded With Forex and Funded With Perps run their evaluations on the same engine. The retail plan has no evaluation; you sign up with a firm when you want one.

  • How the fill model works, and what it deliberately doesn't model.
