Risk disclosure, in plain language.

Trading any market involves risk, even when the trading itself is simulated. This page describes the specific risks of using Vera Charts and of any decision to deploy real capital based on what you practice here.

1. The Vera Charts platform is fully simulated

Every order placed on Vera Charts is matched against the live order book inside the trader's browser. Nothing routes to a real exchange, no customer funds are placed at market risk on the Vera Charts platform itself, and Vera Charts does not custody, transmit, or settle any cryptocurrency or fiat on behalf of customers. Vera Charts is not a broker-dealer, exchange, or money services business.

2. Partner-firm programs are separate

Vera Charts licenses its platform to third-party prop firm partners (including, at present, CryptoPropX and FundedWithForex), each of which operates its own evaluation and funded-account program on top of the platform. The terms of those programs, including evaluation fees, account sizes, drawdown rules, profit splits, and payout cadences, are set by the partner firm. Any commercial relationship you have with a partner firm is between you and that firm, and is governed by the partner firm's own terms.

Vera Charts does not pay traders, does not refund evaluation fees, and does not adjudicate disputes between traders and partner firms. Direct those questions to the partner firm whose program you are enrolled in.

3. Simulation-to-reality gap

Skills practiced in a simulated environment may not translate identically to a real-money environment. Differences that matter:

Psychological pressure. Trading with real capital at risk feels different from trading a simulated balance. Discipline under simulated stakes is not the same skill as discipline under real stakes.

Execution conditions. Real exchanges introduce slippage, partial fills, exchange-side outages, and latency that the simulator approximates but does not perfectly reproduce.

Custody and settlement. A real-money trader takes on custody risk (the exchange holding their funds), settlement risk (the trade not clearing as expected), and counterparty risk (the venue itself going insolvent). None of these exist in simulation.

Regulatory and tax treatment. Real-money trading is subject to local financial regulations and tax obligations. Simulated trading is not.

4. Cryptocurrency and forex market risk

Cryptocurrency markets are highly volatile, frequently illiquid for smaller pairs, and subject to regulatory action that can change access overnight. Forex markets are leveraged and subject to global macroeconomic shocks. Both can move sharply outside of regular trading hours.

5. Past simulated performance

Hypothetical or simulated performance results have inherent limitations. Unlike an actual performance record, simulated results do not represent actual trading and have not been executed. Because the trades have not actually been executed, the results may have under- or over-compensated for the impact, if any, of certain market factors such as lack of liquidity. Past performance, simulated or otherwise, is not necessarily indicative of future results.

6. No investment advice

Vera Charts and any content on this site is provided for educational and platform-demonstration purposes only. Nothing here is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any cryptocurrency, fiat currency, or financial instrument. Vera Charts does not provide investment, legal, or tax advice. Any decision to deploy real capital should be made with full understanding of the risks above and, where appropriate, in consultation with a licensed financial advisor.

7. Eligibility

Vera Charts demo seats are available in most jurisdictions. We do not currently service residents of jurisdictions where the offering of simulated trading services is restricted. You are responsible for confirming that your use of the platform complies with local law.
